Constable Holly Christie is the Vancouver Aboriginal Community Policing Centre’s (VACPC) liaison officer. Holly has been with VACPC since September 2014 and has been a police officer with the Vancouver Police Department (VPD) for over 13 years.

Over the last 13 years of her career with the VPD, Holly has worked in Patrol (District 2), Neighbourhood Policing (Grandview Woodlands CPC and Hastings Sunrise CPC), Problem Oriented Policing (POP Coordinator), the Planning, Research and Audit Section and currently the Diversity and Aboriginal Policing Section.    

Holly is excited to be back in Community Policing with VACPC, and looks forward to working with the VACPC Board of Directors, staff, volunteers, and Aboriginal communities throughout Vancouver to continue building strong relations with the VPD and helping increase awareness/education around personal safety, crime prevention and reporting. 

It is also a goal of Holly’s to help encourage and facilitate ways in which Aboriginal people can contribute in a culturally relevant way, through volunteering at VACPC to empower them, and encourage/motivate Aboriginal people in communities throughout the City of Vancouver.
