LIllian has transitioned to a new role providing her unique support services to the patients of the BC Women's Hospital. We know she will continue her great work there.

Lillian is a member of the Mowachaht/Muchalaht First Nation and is of Nuu-chah-nulth, Kwakwaka’wakw and Tlingit ancestry. She has worked for organizations from the local to the national level as an organizer, co-ordinator, researcher, executive manager, advisor and co-chair. Ms. Howard is an Aboriginal, Social, and Environmental Justice advocate. Lillian is currently the Interim Executive Director of the Vancouver Aboriginal Community Policing Centre (VACPC) and has been with the organization since the end of October 2014.

She enjoys working with the Aboriginal community and the Vancouver Police Department in her capacity as the interim executive director in relationship building and meeting the goals and objectives of the VACPC. She has a passion for participating in the annual Pacific Northwest Canoe Annual Canoe Journeys and is culturally involved whether she lives in the city or her homeland in Nuu-chah-nulth territory on the West Coast of Vancouver Island.
